First up, your therapist will thoroughly clean and prepare your skin for the treatment. Then, the micro needling device is moved over your skin, delivering numerous tiny pricks at the optimum depth. At the same time, radiofrequency waves are released into the micro-wounds. One session lasts about an hour.
Aftercare
RFM is extremely safe and there’s no downtime. With minimal down time, erethema (redness) can be expected for about 24 hours. But there are a few things you should do to care for your skin afterwards. Skip on the makeup for at least 24 hours, and make sure to slather on the SPF for several weeks following. And don’t worry, it’s normal for your face to feel a bit of post-treatment sensitivity.
